Sydney Paige Lazare is the author and illustrator of a poetry book titled "The Other Side of My Face", which brings to light the unfortunate truth in our reality that people judge EVERYTHING. People make judgments based on what they see, or what they choose to see. They do not always see the emotions that are behind the human, behind the facade; in other words, the other side of the face. Sydney is a student at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She has tremendous empathy for all of humanity. She expresses herself through her art, her paintings, her poetry and her acting. She dedicates her time helping others find their voices, empowering women and advocating equality for all. Her art is made with the intention of truthfully expressing herself, so she can inspire others to do the same.
